Mural Details to Study Nature
Speak loud and clear of your message and aim,
more than pictures and memories in their time
cross the gap to the real, shun from empty fame;
portray Nature, the beautiful, in her prime.

Prince Neptune in a Passing Review
Mythology is alive in all of us, it never departs,
so long as Nature resides in the soul of the arts
Hiding Blue Grouper, a make-believe scene.
A hole on the wall; it is abode of a grouper;
its home, to many a prey, its hideous cover.
Blue and red Starfish on coral reef.
Rich in biodiversity in Darwin's nook,
fallen stars shine in children's book.
Catch the birds and fish on a wall mural
Take a break, catch the birds in the air;
the fish in the river, in the country fair.
Make-believe boyhood scene indeed,
sans fishing pole and fish caught;
those were the days our children miss
today with some consoling thought.
Fairies live among the fish in the deep
in a real world for children in their sleep.
Life is never a sunset in its golden years
as long as we cherish its joys and strife.
Nature and nurture, after the flair,
thrives best in the country air.
and evening comes early;
So with creatures at play or rest
in their leisure and play.
Wish the animals are alive and tame.
They never saw the animals in the wild,
not in the concrete jungle of the city;
save a visit to the zoo, and images on TV,
in a world of reality and fantasy.
"I brought Nature home!"
- "Nature is not a place to visit, it is home." Gary Snyder.
Ecology Prayer: "Even only an atom I shall be,
let me be with you dear Mother Nature."
When my days are done, let me lie down
to sleep on sweet breeze and in the shade of trees
I planted in youth, and if this were my last,
make, make others live to carry on the torch,
while my dust falls where new life begins –
even only an atom I shall be -
let me be with you dear Mother Earth. ~
