Paoay Church - A Hybrid of Gothic, Baroque and Oriental Architecture

Also known as San Agustin Church, it is a United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Site,  and  a National Cultural Treasure.

Photos by Dr Abe V Rotor
Photography takes me to many places as a hobby and as a journalist.  Among my favorite subjects is history.  It is travelling into the past, going places and meeting people, participating in events.  It is real adventure.  That's the wonder of the camera, and the magic of cyberspace technology. The famous old church in the town of Paoay in Ilocos Norte is a perfect subject of photography.

These photos were taken by a cellphone and edited on the computer. I am posting these photos to share such a beautiful experience.  It is creativity at work  it is an expression of human nature in making our world a beautiful one.
