You are a skyscraper

among your creeping kind;

you spread an umbrella

and cast a veil of light

over the forest floor

where your prototypes

hope to follow you.

But you veered too far

from your progeny;

so, the shaping Hand

and time have forgotten

you and your progeny. ~
