Memorabilia Drawings Twenty Years Ago
of Leo Carlo R Rotor

Childhood memorabilia are among the most precious collections. They are treasures of the past coming alive in sweet memory and recollection. Timelessness makes them classic - masterpieces to one's life in his own right, albeit others' perspective.

Here are drawings in ink and watercolor depicting major events each month of the calendar. Can you identify which month each represents?

"I can imagine in years to come that my papers and memorabilia, my journals and letters, will find themselves always in the company of people who care about many of the things I do." - Alice Walker

"'No matter how much suffering you went through, you never
wanted to let go of those memories." - Haruki Murakami

"Your memorabilia becomes more significant. It does put you
in a different category." - Jim Palmer

“Nothing is ever really lost to us as long as we remember it.”
― L.M. Montgomery

"My life is cluttered with the most wonderful memorabilia. And wonderful creative experiences." - George Stevens

“Humans, not places, make memories.” ― Ama Ata Aidoo

*Leo Carlo is the author's youngest son.  He made these drawings in 2001 while in the grades at School of St Anthony QC. These drawings are preserved and displayed at the  family museum in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur.  Leo Carlo finished Fine Arts at UST, and Master's degree in Information Technology at Ateneo de Manila University.  He holds a supervisory position in one of the country's biggest real estate firms. - A V Rotor ~
