Amihan is here!
Of all the seasons, amihan creates the grandest view,
When the colors of the rainbow come sweetly low.
Vivaldi, Rembrandt and Amorsolo – they were touched-
Their hearts, their lives, their art. ~

Amihan, acrylic painting 48” x 36” by the author
Midas touches all – from the grains to the sun sinking,
And the grains become beads of jewels, heavy, gleaming,
In October amihan where children with kites meet,
Gathering all creatures to a retreat.
Music is the rustling of the grains, and the singing
Of the harvesters and flocks of maya birds flying,
While haystacks, like giant mushrooms, grow big and tall,
Living symbols of Good Life for all.
Of all the seasons, amihan creates the grandest view,
When the colors of the rainbow come sweetly low.
Vivaldi, Rembrandt and Amorsolo – they were touched-
Their hearts, their lives, their art. ~
