Where have all the flowers gone? 
 tear drops become lovely, 
when a bouquet suddenly arrives,
crossed the deepest ocean
climbed the highest mountain,  
weathered the strongest storm; 
the human spirit lives!

Author wife, Cecille seems not to believe her eyes as she receives a box of beautiful flowers from their children living tn Metro Manila, 410 km away from their ancestral residence in San Vicente, Ilocos Sur.
