Awan basolmo
No nadaluska.
Blame everyone - you're sinless and clean.
(He who has no sin casts the first stone)

2. Awan gibusna:
Sarsarita, tagtaga-inep,
Kalpasan tanem.
There's no end to gossips and dreams - even after death.

3.Mapugipog,
Babel padapada,
Ginggined.
Tower of Babel and its kind will fall.

4. Ugali a madi
Iwaksi. Ub-ubanan,
Kasusukiran.
Habits are hard to correct in old age.

5. Laud ken daya
Agsabat – aggugubat,
Agkakabsat.
East and West meet, fight and become brothers.

6. Kibrada
Mangted panagkakadua,
Panagmaymaysa.
Calamities breed unity and cooperation.

7. Dumanon langit
Ti maikatlo a takyag
nga mangtulong ken Apo Baket.
A helping hand deserves Heaven.

8. Panagladingit:
Ilelennek ni init,
Tikag, sakit.
Gray sunset is sign of hard times.

9. Agur-urayka,
Tedted agsasaruno
Mangrunaw bato.
Rock yields to dripping water.

10. Natalna,
Tarampo, pilid,
Kaar-amamid.
Spinning tops and wheels hum when new.

11. Agbilangkato't
Sangagasot ken maysa
No agdua-dua ka.
Take time to think when in doubt.

12. Gura ken ayat,
Bumtak wenno umpes,
Arig ti ulep
(Love and hate may be compared to cloud - 
it dissipates or falls as rain.)
