Knead and mold, knead and mold,

Time may tarry with its demand;

Let not the clay sit still, I am told,

and wait for the child to be man.

Knead and mold, knead and mold,

Again and again, and trying still;

Godly and oblate, lovely to behold,

For Heaven's sake, don't move the keel. ~
