Forest Adventure, A Reminiscence in acrylic by AV Rotor 2025

"Once upon a time," the story goes, 

many years ago, memory I treasure;

I climbed a tree with my brother,

just for fun and sheer adventure.

Fear, we knew not, no caution, too;

the nest, the nest! our "battle" cry,

to capture the young birds our pet,

to love and care - but how and why.

The forest soon turned into a concert,

mother bird and kin to the rescue;

the scene now alive like a stage,

unwanted we were, we never knew.

"And we all live happily ever after,"

indeed a blessing from Above; 

leave Nature alone, our lesson,

key to  peace, unity, and love.
