"Sweet, Sour, and Salty"
Poetry in Ilocano, 300 pages, with accompanying drawings and paintings made by the author, Emmanuel P Peralta Jr, to enrich the imagery of his poems and verses. The title, a trilogy of contrasting tastes, describes life in three aspects in good and trying times as he had personally experienced these as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), who, after many long years, finally decided to return to his beloved homeland.

"Whispering," an anthology of poems and verses in Ilocano from Cagayan Valley; "Sacred scapes of Fuga Island" Ilocano translation of selected articles from the book written by Dr Ronel dela Cruz for a doctorate degree in anthropology. A bona fide Ilocano, Dr Dela Cruz is a professor and director for research at St Paul University QC. He has presented this research work about Fuga, a remote Island off the northern coast of Cagayan, on a number of invitations from universities abroad.

 
"A History of San Vicente, Ilocos Sur," written by a staff of writers and researchers headed by the late Prof. Lorenzo Mata. The book is considered "a bible" of historical facts about the municipality three kilometers west of Metro Vigan. Right, a voluminous dictionary recently published by a religious scholar, Fr George P Gelade', serves as fresh reference for Ilocanos, as well as non-Ilocanos learning the local tongue.

Bannawag (Iloko word meaning "dawn") is the largest Ilocano Magazine since 1934 published weekly by Liwayway Publications Inc. for Ilocanos here and abroad, particularly in the US and Middle East.  The Living with Nature Center maintains a collection of Bannawag and other publications. 

The author is a columnist of Bannawag, Okeyka Apong: Dagiti Tawid a Sirib ken Adal (Our Heritage of Wisdom and Lessons).  The author extends his appreciation and thanks to Messrs. Cles B Rambaud and Ariel S Tabag for their valuable assistance in the continuing  publication of Okeyka Apong, 2009 to the present. ~
