A Search for Meaning in a Child's Art
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up" – Pablo Picasso.
Paintings by Mateo M Rotor, 9*
Interpreted in verses by his grandpa, Dr Abe V Rotor
Sparse clouds floating free in the sky;
how I wish they fall into rain
on the arid mountain and dying trees,
and not just pass by in vain.
It's full of controversies, yet rich in meaning;
sunset in midnight, or the other way around;
a quarter moon with a child happily fishing
amidst silhouettes of trees and stars falling. ~
"Imagination is more important than knowledge" – Albert Einstein.
